V-Twin 38-1959 FL 3.5 Gallon Gas Tank Set

• Bobbed gas tank kit includes a 3.5 gallon capacity gas tank set with emblem mounts welded in place
• Kit includes 1959 - 1960 emblems with screws, gas cap set, shifter lever with ball, 4 speed shifter gate and a zinc gas tank mount kit
• For hand shift applications
• Accepts a 3/8" NPT petcock with male threads, not included
• Opening is left side forward on tank
• provisions to accept early caps, reserve shut off rod, and two or three light dash, not included
• Check the shut off opening, making sure the shut off valve can be easily installed
• The shut off fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the shut off valve
• Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting
• Do not grind or sand seams or joints
• Clean the inside of the tank
