V-Twin 38-0644 3.5 Gallon Bob Tank Kit

• Bobbed gas tank kit includes a 3.5 gallon capacity gas tank set with emblem mounts welded in place
• Kit includes 1955 - 1956 emblems with screws, gas cap set, shifter lever with ball, 4 speed shifter gate, and a zinc gas tank mount kit
• provisions for reserve shut off rod, which is not included
• For hand shift applications and will accept 3/8" NPT petcock with male threads, not included
• Opening is on the left side forward on the tank. *NOTE: Check the shut off opening, making sure the shut off valve can be easily installed
• The shut off fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the shut off valve
• Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting
• Do not grind or sand seams or joints
• Clean the inside of the tank
