Product details
Stainless shims for centring a Performance Machine caliper over the rotor. When you fit a caliper the pads rarely sit dead centre on the disc first go, and a shim behind the mount moves it across a fraction until it does. Get it right and the pads wear evenly and the lever feels consistent; leave it out and one pad does more work than the other.
Six shims in three thicknesses, so you can stack or swap until it lines up.
Fitment
Performance Machine calipers using 3/8" mounting bolts, including the Direct Bolt-On four-piston front calipers (0053-2919 series) for:
- Harley-Davidson Softail 2000-2014 — FXST Standard, FXSTB Night Train, FXSTC Custom, FXSTD Deuce, FLSTF Fat Boy, FLSTC Heritage Classic, FLSTN Deluxe
- Harley-Davidson Dyna 2000-2017
- Harley-Davidson Touring 2000-2007
- Harley-Davidson Sportster 2000-2007
Check your bolt size first. Performance Machine also do a 5/16" version of this kit (0019-9000) and the two are not interchangeable. This is the 3/8" one.
