Product details
Galfer's floating wave rotor, and a tidy step up from a one-piece disc. The braking surface is a separate ring that floats on the carrier, so as it heats up and grows it stays flat against the pads rather than coning away from them. You feel it as a lever that stays where you put it instead of going long on a hot run.
The wave profile gives the pad an edge to bite on and lets heat and brake dust clear, so the surface is less inclined to glaze.
Laser cut from 420 stainless, heat treated, then ground flat on both faces. Carrier is finished in black.
